Announcing Our New Associate Director

Welcome, Crystal!

Please join us in welcoming our new Associate Director at PACH, Crystal Clarke.

A doctoral candidate of social psychology at New York University, Crystal’s research explores how racial and ethnic identity orchestrates perceptions young men hold of the police. Funded by NYU’s Institute of Human Development and Social Change, she and her interdisciplinary team of researchers work to further understand attitudes towards the police.

Prior to PACH, Crystal joined the faculty of SUNY’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) as an adjunct professor of psychology where she explored the foundations of social psychology with a particular interest in race, identity and systems of privilege and oppression.

Crystal brings to PACH not only relevant research experience, but a demonstrated commitment to creating a more just and humane world and an enthusiasm for bringing people together across difference. We are excited to have her on board!
